Door Card Removal
The door cards are easily removed. On the front doors start by removing the four visible screws...
The surround behind the door release simply pulls out once the screw has been removed.
The switch gear lifts from the back once the screw has been removed. You can see the "hook" that sits beneath the door card at the front of the switches...

Once the screws, switches and surround from behind the door release have been removed then the card can be removed by tugging firmly. See the photos below for reference to where the fasteners are. Note the third photograph. This is the cover for the three screws that hold the wing mirror on. To remove it, you have to first remove the door card as that is what it sits behind. Then give it a simple pull to remove.
The Rear Door Cards...
Are removed in very much the same fashion...
Outer Window Seals...
Now these are tricky little things to remove. Do it wrong, and i quote, " you'll end up with black strips that are as bent as bananas!"
Each strip has one screw securing it at one end only. Push the door seal to one side to get to it. Once the screw has been removed you then have to un-clip the weather seal from the door frame.
The first two photos show the placement of the tabs that the strip clip's onto. The second two photos show them closer. There are two ways to remove the strips. The first and most obvious way is to remove the door card and pull away the vinyl protection sheet, then gain access through the holes with your screwdriver, using a twisting action to unclip the strip. The second option you can see in the last photo, and that is to put your screwdriver down inside the strip, so that its tip is in the gap behind the lower sealing edge. Push the handle of the driver outwards, thus pivoting the shaft on the top of the seal, and levering the lower edge clear of the tab. Once you do this you'll find you'll be able to lift the seal upwards. Try both methods to see which works best for you. One the rear door's you have to remove the quarter light glass.
